Having more than 45 years of experience studying ice cream technology and formulations, has allowed Food Specialties to not only develop a comprehensive range of ingredients, but has also given us the ability to solve problems for our customers. Experience in detailed formula calculations, and a library of information relevant to ice cream today, has opened the door to Food Specialties consulting work.

In our history we have developed many winning products. We have worked closely with companies whose names you know, and helped them to develop products which are famous too.

Our extensive library of research and development projects give our staff quick access to answers to the problems our customers ask us to solve. Sometimes the answer comes from our files directly, and sometimes we verify the formula by making samples of the product before going to our customer with the good news.

Every year we ask staff, friends, relatives and customers for their wish list of new ice cream flavours. This list is edited a little but we usually prepare samples of more than 20 new product ideas, and show the top eight or more to customers, frozen and ready to taste. We welcome your new ideas to add to our next product development review.
